Join our Senior Trainer Ronnette Smith while she provides information to successfully house those in need of LIHTC housing. She will provide a thorough review of federal regulations, along with a wealth of practical applications and solid instruction on vital tax credit management issues. All new major changes are covered under property compliance and qualifying households. Although the HCCP exam is not required, this training is designed to specifically prepare you to take the HCCP exam. Each attendee who completes this course will receive a certificate of attendance which includes 14 hours of continuing education.

This two-day LIHTC class is followed by the optional Housing Credit Certified Professional "HCCP" exam developed by the National Association of Home Builders "NAHB". The HCCP is a closed book exam with 75 multiple choice exam questions. A score of 48 out of 75 is required to pass. You will have 2 1/2 hours to take the exam.

In person exam results will be sent via email from NAHB within four to six weeks of the time your exam arrives at their office in Washington, DC. Online exam results will generate immediately. However, in order to apply for the designation, you must wait for the final results email from NAHB that will come about 10 business days after you take the exam. Login details, training material, and online HCCP Exam scheduling instructions will be emailed to all virtual attendees one week prior to the class they are registered for.
