Class A - RD History and 3560 Regulation Introduction - $95

This is the first class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. Rural developments mission is to increase economic opportunity and improve the quality of life for all rural Americans. In this class you will learn the history of rural development and the 3560 regulations.

This is the second class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. The purpose of the Rural Development application process is to determine applicant eligibility, provide complete information to RD, and rightfully determine wait-list placement. In this class we will discuss the entire RD application process and several eligibility requirements in order to live at an RD property.

Class C – Verifications - $95

This is the third class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. The first step in a perfect review of an application is understanding how to properly obtain verification’s for a certifications income and assets. In this class you will learn the interview process and verifying the information you need to determine if the new move in or recert qualifies.

This is the fourth class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. There are several types of earned and unearned income you may need to calculate in order to determine the total income for a household. In this class we will discuss how to calculate earned and unearned income to be sure your applicants and recerts qualify within the required income limits.

This is the fifth class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. Verifying a households assets is just as important as verifying their income. In this class we will discuss asset income, what’s included and how to calculate asset income so a new certification or recert qualifies within the income limits required.

Class F - Deduction, rent calculations, recert process, leasing, warnings, terminations and grievances - $95

This is the final class in the Essentials of the RD Program course. There are several types of allowances for the RD program that you can deduct from an applicant or tenant’s income. In this class we will discuss how to determine deductions, calculating rent, and several other final topics to complete the topics you need in order to become a Rural Development professional.

Housing Compliance Manager of Rural Development “HCM-R” designation exam - $75

The Housing Compliance Manager of Rural Development “HCM-R” designation exam is designed to help you take the next step in your career towards becoming a Rural Development professional. This 100 question exam is open-book. The class manuals from the Essentials of RD courses will be useful to have on hand when taking this exam. A score of 67% is required to pass.
