Utility Allowance Report Writer (Full Time, Temporary)

The Utility Allowance Report Writer is responsible for processing reports effectively and efficiently using the UA processor. This position is responsible for understanding utility data, utility rates and special rules that are applicable to each report. The Utility Allowance Report Writer ensures that reports are consistent, accurate and meet or exceed customer expectations.  During this assignment period, the individual should be available 40 hours per week from April 1st through July 31st.  Hours and dates are subject to change.  

Trainer (Full Time)

The Trainer is responsible for conducting and/or facilitating affordable housing training classes, seminars, and conferences nationwide.  Ideally, the Trainer has five to seven years of training experience, is very knowledgable in multiple programs (such as LIHTC, HOME, HUD, Fair Housing and Rural Development), and must be an excellent public speaker.  The Trainer contributes to content development, as well.  The ability to travel up to 75% is required.

Inspector (Full Time)

The Inspector is responsible for nationwide inspections of single and multi-family residential dwellings to determine their physical condition, necessary repairs, and conformance to applicable federal and state rules and regulations.  Training will be provided, but at a minimum the Inspector will have proficient knowledge of building maintenance, design, and construction.  The ability to travel up to 75% is required.

Compliance Specialist (Full Time and Contractor)

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for conducting resident file audits for compliance with various and sometimes blended affordable housing programs including LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, and Rural Development.  The Compliance Specialist ensures a consistent, accurate, and high quality ethic and understands the importance of even the finest of details.  Training may be provided for exceptional candidates, but ideally the Compliance Specialist is extremely proficient in at least one affordable housing program.
