Jeffrey Promnitz is a CEO, doctoral scholar, adjunct instructor, and a dedicated advocate for the successful intersection of real estate ROI and affordable housing. He firmly believes that these two goals are not mutually exclusive. His work focuses on creating innovative compliance and educational products that empower teams to maximize investor returns while simultaneously contributing to the development of much-needed affordable housing.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Zeffert & Associates, a nationally recognized leader of multifamily compliance, he oversees strategic direction and key industry partnerships. Guiding his strategy are three commitments: advancing affordable housing access, making it profitable for investors, and having the urgency of doing it now. Being a “Best Place to Work” for all Associates drives his leadership philosophy.

In addition to his executive role, Jeffrey is a researcher and educator. His research domain is human capital, specifically bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. He teaches in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Beyond a commitment of being the at the forefront of the affordable housing progress, Jeffrey has a passion for academic excellence.
