Carol began her career in the affordable housing industry twenty years ago as a leasing consultant and then Property Manager. She came to Zeffert & Associates as the assistant manager of the Compliance Department, soon thereafter earning promotion to full Manager. In her time as the Manager, file review services have increased 40% as more clients took on her department for compliance services. In 2023, with the growth of the company, Carol was again promoted to Division Director of Compliance Services where she has responsibility of the overall direction of both file and property compliance with their respective affordable housing requirements.
Carol holds the following designation: HCCP, HCM-H, HCM-HF, HCM-R.
Fred is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of Inspections for Capital Needs Assessments, 504 Transition Plans, Uniform Physical Needs Assessments, and REAC. Among his chief responsibilities is to ensure the department upholds its strong reputation in the speed and quality of inspections for clients. Fred has 28 years of experience in sales, operations, and inspections; all of which contribute to the priorities of the department.
Mandi has served as a property manager of LIHTC properties with up to 2,000 units, and since joining Zeffert & Associates, has earned several promotions, currently serving as the Director of Training for Zeffert University. Her primary responsibilities include the assessment of clients' needs for affordable housing training, directing the development of a continually robust, dynamic course catalog, and matching the clients' staff with the compliance education they require. This includes eLearning and the delivery of live training.
Mandi holds the HCCP and FHS designations.
Jamie has over ten years of management experience serving in a range of capacities. She has served a variety of roles within the Utility Allowance department that give her expansive knowledge on the breadth of operating aspects required to serve clients with accuracy and speed. In fiscal year 2018 Jamie helped lead the department to its largest ever production volume in history.
Jamie holds the HCCP designation.
As the Business Development Manager, Kurt is responsible for ensuring the needs of clients across all departments are matched with the appropriate services. Much of Kurt's time is spent marketing Zeffert's training services to each locality in order to create awareness for property managers, leasing agents, and more. Kurt has received world class customer service and sales training in Fortune 100 companies.
Ronnette is the Senior Trainer at Zeffert & Associates and an affordable housing expert across multiple funding restrictions and training disciplines. Through Zeffert University, she not only reaches more students than other training alternatives combined, her students boast designation pass rates amongst the highest in the nation! Organizations look to Ronnette year-over-year for their education needs, and in 2023, she was selected as the National Association of Homebuilders "HCCP Designee of the Year".
Ronnette has worked in the Affordable Housing industry since 2001. She is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and holds the HCCP, HCM-R, and FHS designations.
Linda has committed nearly ten years to the Compliance Department, first as a specialist and now as its manager. She has more than 14 years of multifamily and affordable housing experience. Linda has also managed a range of housing properties including Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Project Based Section 8, and market rate. Linda has been the driver of the department to its most successful period since it was established.
Linda holds the HCCP, HCM-HUD, and HCM-RD designations.
Pam began her career with Zeffert as the Office Manager bringing nearly 20 years of administrative experience. After earning a degree in organizational studies, Pam’s interests shifted her into human resources where she now serves as the HR Manager. Chief among her duties is ensuring the corporate culture promotes Zeffert’s unofficial success motto of “The Zeffert Way.”
Pam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Studies.
Khristin Landry-Montes serves as the Curriculum Developer for Zeffert and Associates. Having joined the company after fifteen years of university teaching, research, and course development, Khristin’s role includes the creation of live, virtual, and eLearning content. Khristin believes that affordable housing training should be creative, engaging, and easy for students to navigate while at the same time providing the most up-to-date material available. Khristin is enthusiastic about the company’s mission to provide the industry with the best educational services through a range of modalities that owners, property managers, and agents find as easy to use as possible. Khristin also believes the success and productivity of Zeffert’s clients goes hand-in-hand with their ability to provide an abundance of affordable and respectable housing for our nation’s communities.
Khristin holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and a Ph.D. in Art History, with a special focus in architecture and urban development.
